Accessibility

We build this site to be usable with a keyboard, a screen reader, or a small screen.

  3. 3. Known gaps

1. Our standard

We target WCAG 2.1 Level AA. Every interactive control has an accessible name, every image has real alternative text, data tables are marked up for screen readers, and colour is never the only way we convey meaning.

2. How we check

Accessibility is audited against the rendered page, not just the source, and every page is checked at 375px wide before anything larger. Audits run on each change that touches a page rather than once a year.

3. Known gaps

This is an ongoing commitment, not a finished state. If you hit a barrier anywhere on this site, tell us and we will treat it as a defect, not a suggestion. What we know is open, today:

  • Comparison table

    Not yet

Above two cards the desktop table scrolls sideways, which is hard to follow with a screen magnifier. Open. The phone layout shows two cards at a time and does not scroll; the desktop table still does.

  • Dark theme

    Not yet

The palette is defined and not switched on, so a reader who prefers a dark interface gets the light one. Open. It needs a change to how the theme is compiled, not new colours.

  • Card artwork

    Not yet

Alternative text names the card but does not describe the artwork itself. Open. The name is the useful part; the description is not written yet.

How we make money: referral fees from issuers when a card application we send is approved. No card ranking is running right now, so nothing on this site earns us anything today. Read our methodology.

The month is free and never requires a card. Rates come from the publishers named beside them and can change without notice.
